A debilitated planet whose weakness is cancelled — most commonly when the lord of the sign it occupies, or the planet that would be exalted there, sits in a kendra from the Lagna or the Moon.
The debilitation is undone and may become a source of unusual strength, often producing people who rise from a difficult start.
Texts disagree substantially on which cancellation conditions count, so two astrologers can reasonably reach opposite conclusions on the same chart. Treat any confident claim about it with some caution.
