The temptation at this stage is to look up each placement individually and stack the meanings. That produces a list of contradictory statements, which is why so much online chart interpretation reads as incoherent.
What practitioners do instead is work in a fixed order, letting each step qualify the last.
First, the Lagna and its lord — the overall condition and direction of the chart. A strong Lagna lord in a good house means difficulties elsewhere are more survivable.
Second, occupied houses. Which areas of life have planets in them? Those carry weight, and a house with three planets is doing more than one with none.
Third, the lords of the houses you care about, and where they sit. This is the sentence-building from Lesson 6.
Fourth, classifications. Are the important planets in kendras and trikonas, or in dushthanas? Is this a chart of upachayas that improves late?
Only then interpretation — and only as a picture built from several agreeing factors, never from one.
A single factor almost never justifies a statement. If you find Saturn in the 7th and want to conclude a difficult marriage, check the 7th lord, check Venus, check whether Jupiter aspects the house. If three factors point the same way, you have something worth saying carefully. If they contradict, the honest reading is that the area is mixed — which is true of most areas of most lives.
This is also the discipline that separates a useful astrologer from a frightening one. The person who tells you one placement has determined something is not reading; they are performing.
You can identify every house in a chart, name what it governs, find its lord, place that lord, classify both, and apply the inversion rule for malefics in difficult houses. That is a real working foundation, and it is more than most people who talk about astrology confidently possess.
